A Little Something for You!

Hey you wonderful crafters! I'm so thrilled that my mojo decided to come back home :) I have been spending considerable time working on some craft projects and boy, it feels good! I'm thoroughly enjoying all the 'creating'. Like right now, it's 11.30pm, husby darling is snoring softly, Little Miss is in baby dreamland and I'm up, all bright eyed, typing this post :)

A little while ago, I was trying some things - experimenting with some designs for digital pattern paper. Like some mad possessed woman, I got so involved and carried away that I created quite a few. And then I felt so good about myself, I could almost touch the halo. And that angelic spirit coaxed me into sharing some with you :) So, here are three of my digital pattern papers. Simply click on the image to enlarge and save to your computer.

Hope you find a project for them. If you do use them, please do share a link to your project, I'd be delighted to see your creations!

I might add a bundle to my Etsy or Madeit store soon...

Enjoy!
Happy Crafting

P.S: I'm still figuring out if I can add pdf files to my blog posts. Which of you beautiful crafters know how? Pretty please...

A-Tisket, A-Tasket, I made some Easter Baskets :-)

I had so much fun making these Easter baskets! The inspiration came from here, here and here.

This little bunny is so cute! I wanted to make some in blue as well...will work on them soon.

These are so so so pretty!

The options for colour combinations and choice of pattern paper are endless!
I'm totally in love with these :-)

These darling little baskets are perfect for lollies/candies or some little chocolate eggs.

I wanted them to look pretty on the inside too. So I lined the insides with contrasting pattern paper.

Okay, cute baskets, all done. Now now now, look what arrived in the mail today...

My B'day pressie from husby darling! What is it??
Yippee yay yay! I'm hoppin' madly excited! Can't wait to rip it open and try it! Husby says, 'Do not open until your B'day.' (which isn't until the end of this month). Yeah right!

Tutorial: Square Envelopes

4x4 is a good size for cards and I tend to make them a lot! They're great for card sets and I love how neat and petite they look :-) But i definitely don't like the $$ I have to shell out to buy envelopes for them. For some strange reason, square envelopes are more expensive than regular C6 or DL size ones. And like that's not enough, I can never seem to find the smaller size ones (for 4x4 cards) easily! I had had enough with this issue, especially when I have to do pricing for my card sets. I can't justify spending more on my envelopes than I do on my cards! So I finally came up with a solution - turn regular size envelopes into square ones! Now, there might already be a hundred versions out there, but I was pretty proud of myself to have figured it out one afternoon :-)
I was so pleased with the result that I had to share it here with you. So I went on and made a picture tutorial.

I'm quite sure I've made at least one other person squeal with delight at this idea :-)
