Hey there!

Hi my super talented fellow crafters! I've been MIA for quite a while now. Where do I begin? Well, let me not, at all, actually :) I'll simply say, "I've been occupied otherwise".
So, anyways, I'm slowly getting back to crafting these days. Courtesy my darling little girl who now seems to have figured out pretty much a predictable routine for herself. She is such a happy baby, I love her! I manage to sneak in a little project while she's napping or when she is babbling contently in her swing or on her play mat :)

I made a little something for husby darling for V Day, more about that in a bit. But first I want to share my new found love - button necklaces. Yes! Necklaces made of buttons, glorious buttons! I made a couple to give away as little gifts last year (just before Christmas).

So much fun! I finally used a bag of buttons I had hoarded for like forever!
I started by grouping the buttons into colour families and then just strung them onto clear elastic beading wire. Just went with the flow, no particular order or arrangement. I loved the way they turned out :)
I might make some bracelets as well...mmmm.

Yeah, so I was saying...I made a little something for husby for V Day. A little book entitled '50 Things I Love about You'. It was so much fun thinking of things to put in there! I had, obviously, more than 50 things, but I didn't want to go overboard. Although, there's nothing called 'overboard' in love I must say :) Anyway, it wasn't great looking, mainly because I was working on it while I was juggling a couple of other things. (well it's what's inside that matters, right?)

Well, well, well...notice how it's bound? Yeah baby!!! Got one :)
